Brass and voices in concert at Chesterfield’s Crooked Spire Church
A Christmas concert on Monday, December 14, will feature the singers of Chesterfield Gilbert and Sullivan Society and a welcome reappearance by their special guests, Harlequin Brass.
Andrew Marples, who will direct the music, said: “The programme will feature two carols which are local to the Peak District as well as traditional and contemporary Christmas music and we shall be inviting audience participation in a new Christmas medley which we’ve discovered. We’ll also be looking forward to the band and choir singing together in “Joy to the World” which will resound throughout the church.”
