Blues/rock guitarist Chantel McGregor plays Derbyshire on album tour
Guitarist and singer/songwriter Chantel McGregor is on tour to plug her new album Lose Control.
The new release, which was launched this month, is a follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2011 debut solo album, Like No Other.
A female guitar prodigy, at 14 Chantel was told by major labels that she had a “great voice, but girls don’t play guitar like that!”She enrolled at the Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark, with 18 distinctions.
Chantel winds up her 21-date UK tour at Derby’s Flowerpot on December 17.
