For more than ten years, the Turn It Up music development project has worked with young people to support them in gaining experience of music including the genres of rock and folk.

The project is focused on building up skills, creating original music and performances.

Several bands have benefited from the project with performances at high-profile events such as the nationally-recognised YNot Festival, near Buxton; Bandstand Marathon in Matlock and Whatstandwell Festival.
