The concert will cover a wide range of short pieces spanning the centuries, from old favourites such as Bruckner, to more modern compositions by Jeffers, Warlock and Lauridsen.

The choir will explore the advent theme in sacred music, and carols across the ages.

Wyns Tor Singers will also consider the effect of war on those left behind, and the longing for peace.

The music will be interspersed with short readings – with contributions by David Frederickson of Cotton Grass Theatre.
