This year the Advertiser's wants more people to sign up and become blood donors with our year-long campaign Give A Pint Save A Life so here are some are some things you may not know about giving blood.

We are working with the NHS Blood and Transfusion service throughout 2017 to highlight the lifesavers those who give blood the nurses who take the blood and the medical staff who work behind the scenes delivering the blood donations to those who need it most.
