Lamb beheaded in Derbyshire village

A farmer in Edale contacted police on Tuesday after he found the animal’s mutilated body in a field near his farmhouse.

Officers said the animal’s head had been “cleanly removed”. They are satisfied that the injury could not have been inflicted by another animal.
