Recorded cases of domestic violence in Derbyshire have risen by nearly five per cent in one year.

New figures show that between January 1 and December 31, 2015, 5,860 domestic crimes were recorded by Derbyshire Constabulary - increasing to 6,105 cases in the same period for 2016.
