Firefighters rescue cockerel trapped inside chimney

Firefighters rescued a cockerel trapped inside a chimney this morning.

Buxton fire chiefs were called to the property on Buxton Road, Earl Sterndale, just after 9.50am.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The crew successfully rescued the bird which was placed in the care of the owner."
