Police attend Buxton street after reports of group planning fight

Police attended a Buxton street on Tuesday amid reports of a group of males who were planning a fight and drug dealing.

Buxton Police Safer Neighbourhood Team attended Temple Road after receiving reports there were a group of males in the area who were drug dealing and planning to fight.

Four males were stop searched and their parents informed.

Posting on Facebook, the team said: “On this occasion the searches were negative, but we always try to act on information sent to us.”
