Community comes together for Big Lunch
Around 50 residents of Darwin Avenue in Buxton sat down for a bite to eat together as part of an annual celebration.
The Big Lunch encourages people to have lunch with their neighbours once a year, for a few hours of community, friendship and fun.
Penny Till, one of the organisers, said: “Everyone who came enjoyed a day filled with fun, food and chat – it was a great chance to catch up with neighbours that we don’t always have time to talk with.”
