Buxton Market cancelled due to strong winds fear
Saturday's Buxton Market has been cancelled, organisers have announced.
A post on the Buxton Markets Facebook page this afternoon (Friday) reads: "It is with regret that the market for Saturday (February 25) will be cancelled due to the strong gusty winds forecast most of the day.
"We have come to this decision for the safety of the public, traders and employees.
"We aim to see you all back on Tuesday February 28."
The Met Office has forecast strong winds for across the region tomorrow, with the winds moderating later in the day.
