Television star Nick Hewer, of The Apprentice and Countdown fame, and politician turned author Alan Johnson are among the star attractions at this year's Buxton International Festival Book Weekend.

The autumn literary festival has a packed two-day programme also featuring the likes of Baroness Shirley Williams and crime writers Sarah Ward and Kate Griffin.
