Body found in Derbyshire river
Police officers were called at 7.40pm last night (Wednesday March 30) by a walker who had seen what she thought was a body in deep water near a dam in the river in Bradford Dale, near Youlgreave.
The body was recovered by officers later in the evening and is believed to be missing pensioner Michael Gibbs.

Hide AdMr Gibbs, who was 83 years old, had been reported missing from his home in Youlgreave on Tuesday morning.
Yesterday, police were joined by mountain rescue volunteers and a HM Coastguard helicopter as they continued to search for Mr Gibbs.
A formal identification has not yet taken place but the search has been called off.
Officers would like to thank everyone who helped in the search.
