A Buxton bar is due to relaunch in June after a major refurbishment.

The Vault, on the market place, is undergoing a full refurbishment, spearheaded by local interior designer Rachel Lakeland.

Present owner Chris Brindley is being joined by local resident Colin Short and his business partner James Tipping to relaunch the business, with the team saying they are confident that the new look will spruce things up, ‘whilst maintaining the Vault’s reputation for a great night out’.

Colin said: “Everyone involved in the re-launch is really excited – even Chris believes that the place will look the best!

"The pandemic has certainly curtailed all our socializing – but good times are just around the corner and The Vault is perfectly placed to provide both locals and visitors with the ideal venue to celebrate the end of current restrictions.”

New signage and décor will be matched by a new menu and new leading brands on the bar. The ‘new’ theme continues with a new manager – who will be announced shortly.

The Vault still has a walk-in bank vault from its days as the Halifax Building Society.
