Buxton based four piece The Indieannas have recently released a video for their single, One Stride at a Time.
Released on Sound- Hub Records, the single is an infectious indie rock anthem and the video is an eerie, home-video style perfect for Halloween.
With an anthemic chorus, the record is chilled out and is packed to the brim with elegant guitar hooks provided by Courtney Goddard and frontman Ged Potts has a fantastic vocal range, his low-key growl fits perfectly with the band’s old school style. Bass guitarist Mark Whibberley and drummer Chris Morton provide the energetic rhythm and altogether makes up the recipe for success.
Formed in 2011, the band have played a number of festivals and dates across the UK, including Sheffield, Chesterfield and the prestigious Y Not Festival alongside Reverend and the Makers and The Pigeon Detectives. Following in The Beatles’ footsteps, The Indieannas played the infamous Cavern Club in Liverpool. The single follows their debut 2012 album, Inside Your Mind and looks set to help them ground their roots in the Derbyshire music circuit.
