Accounts aim to boost High Peak charity with sponsored walk

The Buxton office of Smith Cooper, one of the largest locally owned, independent accountancy firms in the Midlands, has organised a sponsored walk in aid of High Peak Foodbank.

The event is taking place on Sunday, September 25, and has been nicknamed The Dambusters Walk by those taking part as it follows a 25kilometre route around the perimeter of the Ladybower, Derwent and Howden reservoirs.

Company partner Catherine Desmond said: “We are very pleased to be raising money for High Peak Foodbank, who are our chosen charity for this year.
