‘Florabundance’ is the theme of this year’s Taddington well dressing and flower festival.
Saint Michael and All Angels church will host many of the events between August 17 and August 24, beginning with the blessing of the wells on the Saturday from 1pm, followed by a family fun afternoon.
On the Sunday, the churchyard will be filled with a display of classic cars and tractors from 12.30pm, followed by a concert by Hathersage Brass Band at 2.30pm and an Evening of Praise at 6.30pm.
The Bramwell Memorial Institute will hold a quiz night on August 19 at 7.30pm, and the following evening the venue will mark the start of the Taddington Lanes Race at 7pm.
The festival closes on August 24 with a concert by Chorale Singers at 3pm.
The churchyard will host stalls and refreshments throughout the week.
