You are being advised to keep calm and carry on dancing at a 1940s themed night of music and dancing in the Dome on Friday, November 25, from 7.30pm till late.
Live music from the 18-piece Ockbrook Big Band and singer Erin Parker will provide a fabulous 40s soundtrack to a night on the dance floor, with classics numbers from Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Artie Shaw.
Guests are invited really get into the swing of things by wearing 1940s costume. Drinks can be purchased from a fully licensed bar, snacks will be available, but feel free to bring a picnic along. Unfortunately you can’t bring your own alcohol.
