BUXTON’S Pavilion Gardens hosts its next farmers’ market on Thursday March 1, between 9.30am and 2pm.
Farmers, growers and producers from across the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales will be selling their produce direct to the public.
Visitors can expect a wide selection of foods, including: locally-reared meats including organic, home-baked cakes, breads and desserts and handmade chocolates, freshly made pizzas, home-made lemon curd, jam, pickles and chutneys, fresh locally grown and freshly picked vegetables, home-made ready meals, soups and pies, and a selection of interesting local cheeses and free range eggs.
There will also be a good selection of seasonal garden plants and herbs, as well as hanging baskets and tubs, in addition to personal items such as hand-made crafts, jewellery and soaps.
Refreshments will be available.
