Roll up, roll up, for an amazing, awe-inspiring new show from the world’s most famous circus.
The Moscow State Circus returns to the UK with its latest and greatest production to date, Park Gorkogo, which will delight audiences at Buxton Opera House from Friday February 28 to Sunday March 2.
Set in the mystical centre of Moscow’s cultural and artistic quarter, ‘Gorky Park’ is the perfect backdrop for what is one of the most exciting circuses on earth.
Superstar Clowns Splendid Pavlik and Klava invite the audience to this wondrous and mysterious place, a place to romance, a place to stroll and take in Moscow at sunset and a place to see magnificent feats of human achievement – some of which have never been witnessed before in the UK.
As the loveable buffoons reminisce about past times in one of the most famous cities on earth, they are surrounded by a multitude of flying, back flipping, juggling and roller skating performers.
Performances by The Moscow State Circus will take place on February 28 at 7.30pm, Saturday March 1 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, and Sunday March 2 at 2pm and 5pm.
Tickets, ranging in price from £19 to £25, can be purchased from the Water Street box office on 0845 127 2190 or online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
