English singer-songwriter Ren Harvieu will air her creations in concert in New Mills.
She will be performing at Torr Vale Mill, on Saturday, June 18, where she will be supported by Cold Flame Acoustic.
Her first album Through the Night entered the album charts at number five when it was released four years ago.
That same year she was nominated for the BBC Sounds of 2012 poll.
Ren, who hails from Salford, Greater Manchester, was introduced to music by her mother.
She performed in musical theatre while at sixth form college and competed in several talent contests.
Ren caught the attention of a music manager after uploading some of her songs to MySpace. She was introduced to producer Jimmy Hogarth, began working on demos and was signed to Universal Music when she was 18.
While working on her first album, she had an accident in which she broke her back and spent months recovering in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
She is currently working on her second album.
Doors open at 7pm for the New Mills concert. Tickets cost £10, available online at www.torrvalemill.co.uk
Supporting Ren, is popular local folk group, Cold Flame Acoustic.
