Irish pop sensations Boyzone will play a headline show in Derby on Saturday, September 16, with tickets going on sale this week.
The 3aaa County Ground will play host to one of the exclusive music events of the year.
Tickets and hospitality packages will go on sale this Friday, June 2, at 9am.
Boyzone play the show in Dedrby ahead of their 25th anniversary in 2018.
They have notched up 25 million record sales, seven hit studio albums, six UK number one singles and hundreds of thousands of ticket sales.
The band played their last sell-out show as a group in 2000 before moving on to focus their attentions on solo careers, acting, theatre performances and reality TV.
In 2008 the band reformed and their ‘Back Again: No Matter What’ tour was described as what both audiences and critics agreed was their best show yet.
Commenting on the expected sell-out show, Boyzone said: “We’re really excited to be back out playing live. It’s going to be great to entertain fans for a select number of shows this summer and we can’t wait to treat the East Midlands to what promises to be a superb night at The 3aaa County Ground in Derby.
“Next year we’ll celebrate our 25th anniversary, which is something we’re very proud and incredibly excited about. Long may this incredible journey continue.”
Chief executive Simon Storey said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Boyzone, one of the most decorated boy bands of all time, to The 3aaa County Ground in September as our second major concert this summer.
“It will be another great community event that will provide Derby with an opportunity to come together, while also attracting thousands of people to the city with all the economic benefits that brings.
“The concert, which is expected to sell quickly, will be a great occasion for the East Midlands and the perfect way to end a special summer for the club.”
Boyzone are only performing select shows in 2017, making their show at The 3aaa County Ground, home of Derbyshire CCC, a key date for your calendar.
Tickets for Boyzone at the The 3aaa County Ground are priced from £37.50 + booking fees.
