Buxton Opera House is due to be transformed into the magical world of Narnia, as a team of talented performers bring this classical story alive on the stage.

Produced by Phil Coggins and Mark Hornsey of the Babbling Vagabonds, and Jilly Ferguson of Peak Performance Theatre School, it will feature music, drama, dance and puppetry.

“A life-sized Aslan has been constructed and he promises to be an awesome addition to Adrian Mitchell’s stage version of this wonderful story,” said Jill.

“We auditioned for our cast last year and have found some wonderful actors from across the county.

“We are also very lucky to have a talented musical director, Tom Atkins, working with Shaun Davey’s powerful musical score.”

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be performed at Buxton Opera House from Wednesday October 26 to Friday October 28, at 7pm each evening and with a Friday matinee at 3pm. Tickets are available from the Buxton Opera House box office on 0845 127 2190, or online at
