COTTON Grass Theatre’s exciting tour of ‘Thin Air’, the new ghost play by Carnegie Medal-winning local writer Berlie Doherty and inspired by early flight and the haunting landscape and mythology of the Peak District, is continuing across the High Peak.
This haunting family saga is a tale of ambition, secrets and passion unspent.
A young man’s dream of flight has ghostly consequences. A pilot returns home from the horrors of the First World War. He is in possession of a secret that will haunt his community for generations to come.
Thin Air will be performed at Thornbridge Hall, Ashford-in-the-Water, from March 22 to March 24, at 8pm, raising money for Help for Heroes and Edale Mountain Rescue Team. Doors open at 7.15pm.
There will be an interval bar and refreshments before and after the show.
Tickets are available from www.wegottickets.com or 01433 621 624 / 07972 145 977.
The play will also be performed at Buxton’s Pavilion Arts Centre Studio on Friday March 9 and Saturday March 10 at 7.30pm, and at Tideswell Theatre on March 29.
