Fresh take on Jane Austen classic

Sense & Sensibility at Buxton Opera House
Sense & Sensibility at Buxton Opera House

A BRAND new adaptation of the lively Jane Austen tale Sense & Sensibility is to grace the stage at Buxton Opera House next month.

Chapterhouse Theatre Company return to Buxton after 2011’s Pride & Prejudice, for another evening of Regency wonderment, as Elinor and Marianne Dashwood make their first forays into the exciting decadent world of 18th century society.

Follow the sisters as they fall in love, fall out again, make mistakes and experience heartbreak for the first time in their quest to find that seemingly unattainable balance between... sense and sensibility.

The performance on Tuesday January 31, at 7.30pm, will be followed by a free after-show question and answer session with the company in the Stalls.
