A STREAM of unconsciousness and sit-down comedy will be on offer at Buxton Opera House from the legendary Barry Cryer in his show Butterfly Brain on Monday August 27, at 7.30pm.

Join him on an alphabetical, hypothetical journey from A to Z, and answer all your (and his) questions.

Barry Cryer started his career as a bottom billing act at The Windmill Theatre in London, while writing in his spare time.

Soon he was selling material to a host of names such as Danny La Rue, Frankie Howerd, Bob Hope, Tommy Cooper and Les Dawson.

Barry’s performing career took off too, with a host of TV and theatre jobs including starring in the BBC series Hello Cheeky with Tim Brooke-Taylor.

Barry has also been a regular panellist on Sorry I Haven’t a Clue since its inception in 1972.

Tickets, priced £14 and £16, are available from the Box Office on 0845 127 2190 or online at
