Project eARTh tapestry to be unveiled at Spring Bank Arts, New Mills

A woven tapestry representing the fruits of labour of a community arts group will be unveiled in New Mills.

The tapestry, entitled The Fabric Of Our Lives, has been created from cotton clothing, fabric and willow sticks by Project eARTh participants working with artist Sue Lawty.

An unveiling ceremony will be held at Spring Bank Arts, today (Thursday, April 16), from 11am to 1pm. Admission free. The tapestry is inspired by the arts centre, the building that was the Church of St James the Less.
