Violinist Lizzie Ball returns to her Derbyshire roots for open-air concerts
Internationally acclaimed violinist and singer Lizzie Ball will perform in two open-air concerts in her home county of Derbyshire.
Lizzie will be playing jazz and bluegrass at Music in the Meadows on September 12 and 13, starting at 2.30pm, in the centre of Hathersage.
A professional musician for more than 20 years, Lizzie grew up in Hathersage and attended Lady Manners School in Bakewell.
Three players who are usually found at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London will accompany Lizzie. They are pianist James Pearson, bassist Sam Burgess and drummer James Turner.
The concerts are presented by The Shuttleworth Trust in conjunction with Hathersage Players.
Tickets cost £25 (including raffle entry) and proceeds are in aid of local good causes and supporting musicians whose income has been slashed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
