The Crooks launch new single Frankie on Golden Robot Records

Chesterfield band The Crooks will delight their growing army of fans by releasing a new single on March 1.

Frankie is the indie rock band’s latest track for Golden Robot Records and follows In Time, their debut single for the star-studded label which they signed to last year.

Golden Robot has been instrumental in the success of bands such as L.A. Guns and Rose Tattoo.

Tipped as ones to watch in 2020, the group comprising Jacko, Chris Stones, Duncan Couch, Conor Fletcher and Jonathan Keeler, are averaging more than 42,500 streams per week on Spotify and the band’s social media has hit record numbers with most videos hitting well over 30,000 views.

The Crooks have released a plethora of sounds and tunes including Nevermind which racked up in excess of 100,000 Spotify streams.

Nine months after forming in 2019 the band released edgy rock anthem Silhouette Sunshine which achieved 26,000 streams in the first week on Spotify. The single was also picked as This Feeling Track Of The Week and played by RadioX (UK) DJ Gordon Smart.

The Crooks draw influence from DMA's, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Verve and co. topped off with an adopted punk tinge.
