Hannah Fox, Director of Programmes and Projects at Derby Museums, said: “With so many of us shut inside or social distancing, the need to connect and stay in touch with our communities is stronger than ever. People are missing their cultural institutions just as we are missing them, and we want to continue the dialogue between us, sharing stories and ideas to help enrich all of our lives at this difficult time”.

“This new microsite will help us do just that. Now you can ‘museum’ from anywhere and we will be sharing all sorts of playful, surprising and quirky content over the coming months to keep people engaged, learning and having fun until our doors can re-open”.

Connected to the museums’ main website (www.derbymuseums.org), the microsite gcan be accessed at: www.derbymuseumsfromhome.com

Online content posted on the microsite will also be shared across Derby Museums’ social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube – all @derbymuseums).
