Deacon Blue announce show in Sheffield - here's how to get tickets

Hit-making band Deacon Blue will plug their new album City of Love on a tour which visits Sheffield.

The band, who have 14 hit singles to their credit including Real Gone Kid, Fergus Sings The Blues, Dignity and Wages Day, will play at Sheffield City Hall on December 4, 2021.

Ricky Ross said: "We're so looking forward to you hearing City of Love and getting out on the road, playing new songs and old songs too. Every time we tour now it feels like a celebration because our fans are still there and it's a delight for us. We're planning to make this the best one yet.”

Long praised for the live pefformances, the tour will see Deacon Blue visit more cities in the UK and Ireland than ever before, including seven arena shows and London's Royal Albert Hall. Jamie Lawson will be special guest on this Cities of Love tour.

City of Love is the fourth album release of a prolific seven-year period for Deacon Blue. Their last three albums returned the band to the top 20 of the UK album charts, the most recent posting at number 12, giving them their highest charting album in 23 years.

Deacon Blue’s achievements include seven million album sales and two number one albums.
