A character study by W S Gilbert

WOBBLY Dog Productions presents The Hooligan at Buxton’s Pavilion Arts Centre on August 1, at 3pm.

His last performed work, The Hooligan was termed by WS Gilbert himself as a ‘character study’ and deals with a serious subject which appears to be most ‘un-Gilbertian.

It will be followed by a short selection of Bab Ballards, songs and snatches.

Tickets are available on 0845 127 2190 or at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
