ONE OF the greatest names of 50s and 60s rock ‘n’ roll music will be providing a nostalgic look back through his life’s work at Buxton Opera House on Thursday July 28, at 8pm.

During his uplifting concert, Marty Wilde will perform a cherry-picked selection of his hits including personal favourites such as Bad Boy, Jesamine, Teenager in Love, Rubber Ball, Jezabel and Sea of Love. He will trawl through his own memory vaults, divulging his fondest rock recollections, while paying homage to friends who helped shape British rock ‘n’ roll.

Tickets, priced £16 and £18, are available on 0845 127 2190 or at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
