Hitmen benefit from kind donation
The local speedway family strengthened its ties recently, with Buxton Hitmen benefitting from a cash boost.
The Long Eaton Speedway Reunion Group made a contribution to keeping speedway alive in Buxton, after donating a cheque for £450 towards the Hitmen’s airfence fund.
The gesture of goodwill was made during a recent event, held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Long Eaton Invaders’ double triumph in the 1984 National League.
The group presented the cheque to Buxton’s promoter Richard Moss.
