The Doncater Rovers youngster has joined the Bucks in a bit to aid his development.

The Northern Ireland U19 player made his debut for the Bucks in a 2-1 loss against Barwell, but Amos says the guidance from former Rovers players who are at the club will be invaluable.

“It’s a good experience for me to go out and play men’s football,” he said. “There are some former Rovers players there such as Jan Budtz, Ricky Ravenhill and Tim Ryan who is the assistant manager, so I know I will be in good hands.

“It’s been an amazing season for me, being in the squad for Arsenal, then the call up for Northern Ireland, then securing my professional deal and then getting a full 90 minutes of first-team football.”

As part of the loan deal Amos is still available to play for Rovers’ development side.
