Latest from the High Peak Netball League.

The first game of the night was the A Division meeting between Taxal and Nouveaux.

With both teams starting well, Taxal kept in touch of the league leaders but by half-time Nouveaux had an 11-6 lead.

After the break Gaby Storer for Taxal made some good interceptions, but Nouveaux took control and Sharon Hatcher shot her team to a 23-12 victory.

Kraken against Chinley B was a fast game with some excellent centre court play.

By the break there was little between them with Chinley ahead 3-2. The second half continued at the same pace and just one goal separated them again as Chinley ran out 7-5 winners.

Another A Division game was next, with Glossop taking on Cobras.

Cobras quickly took control of this game and with Georgia Greenhalgh in the centre court for them, managed to lead 9-3 at the break.

In the second half Glossop stepped up a gear and despite Rachael Catlin impressing, they couldn’t deny Cobras who managed to keep their lead as they ran out 17-7 winners.

Other scores on the evening saw Violets defeat Leftovers 16-11, whilst Chinley A overcame Lasses 22-18.
