Toddbrook Sailing Club are starting up a new canoe section and are welcoming new members.
After enquiries from a number of people, the club decided to set up the weekly classes, led by British Canoe Union-qualified instructors.
The Whaley Bridge-based club will be holding a starter class for canoeing and kayaking, funded by Sportivate, a Sport England scheme to encourage young people aged 11-25 to take up a sport.
Inflatable canoes are particularly welcome, and those who own these can get in touch.
Sessions will take place on: Wednesdays May 21, June 4, 11, 18, 25 (8-9pm) on Toddbrook Reservoir.
All necessary equipment will be provided.
Membership for the canoe section will be charged at £15, free for unemployed.
Those interested should contact Jane and email email@example.com.
