In the A Division, Cobras and Nouveaux couldn’t be separated at the interval as they were tied 6-6.
The second half continued in the same vein but Cobras managed to win 13-12 in the tightest affair of the evening.
Meanwhile, the top tier clash between Taxal and Shots saw Hannah Ford of Shots taking control, as her team secured a 17-11 win.
In the B division Tigers took on Violets and the former quickly took control of this game, taking a half-time lead of 12-5 thanks to some excellent interceptions from Maggie Heelan.
In the second half Violets continued to fight on, but Tigers dominated and eventually romped home 30-10.
In the Rems against Leftovers game, the latter took a close 6-5 lead into the break.
After the break, Gill Lomas was controlling the game throughout the court for Leftovers and she helped her team achieve a 12-10 success.
In the C Division, Seconds made a good start against Chinley with Harriett Mansfield impressing at goal defence, but they went into the break with a deficit of 11-2.
A second half fightback followed but it wasn’t enough, as Chinley earned the points 17-9.
