All the latest from the High Peak Netball League.

The first game of the evening was between Kracken and Chinley C and the match started well with some good netball all round but by half-time, with some good shooting from Kate Christie, Chinley had edged ahead leading 9-3.

After the break Kracken staged a comeback and with Annie Baldwin at centre making some good interceptions it looked like they would get the draw, but Chinley managed to sneak a 10-8 win.

Next up was Lasses versus Tigers and it was the latter who took the early initiative with some good centre court play helping them to an 11-9 half-time lead.

In the second half both teams continued with some excellent netball but in defence Jackie Redfern, for the Tigers, managed to keep Lasses’ shooting to a minimum as they won 23-17.

The third game was between Chinley B and Seconds. Both teams played some lovely netball as Chinley went in 9-7 at the break.

The second half carried on at the same pace but with Jen Rawson for Chinley playing an excellent centre, they held on to their lead and won 16-12.

Chinley A against Rems finished 22-8. Chinley led at the break and despite Rems fighting back, they couldn’t avoid defeat.

The final clash saw Pink Ladies edge an extremely tight affair with Goodies.

Pink Ladies won 9-5 in a game of defiant defending.
