DESPITE a tough start to the season, Buxton Hitmen’s manager Jack Lee insists his team still has everything to play for.
The Hitmen are still searching for their first win of the season, and struggled in their matches against the USA Future team and the Dudley Heathens.
Lee said: “Our lads have had very little or no track time this season and over the winter, so aren’t race fit yet.”
The Hitmen start their National League campaign at High-Edge on Sunday (3pm start) against the Isle of Wight.
Lee added: The lads are fired up and ready to get some points on the table.
“Our aim is to get to the play-offs and we still have a long season ahead of us. Once the lads get some meetings under their belts, then I’m sure the points will start to roll in.
