High Peak Triathlon Club well-represented
A number of athletes from High Peak Tri Club took part in the “Last of the Summer Tri” event in Holmfirth.
The quickest club member, and first in his age group, was David Heathcote finishing in 1.21 20, just managing to outpace Nigel Critchlow who finished fourth in his age group with a time of 1.25.27.
In the ladies’ category, Trish Justin came home in a time of 1.45.37 to take third spot in her age group.
A plucky return from several months on the sidelines saw Ieuan Roberts back on the track, thoroughly enjoying his first local competition of the season after a lengthy lay off.
