Buxton’s under-19s return to league action tonight (Thursday), with the first of two back-to-back home games.
The Buxton youngsters haven’t played a league match since December, mainly due to the poor weather.
Their only two outings in 2014 have been cup games, in which they defeated Southwell City 5-0 and Dunkirk 3-2 to progress into the latter stages of the League Cup.
Tonight Worksop Town’s under-19s visit the Silverlands (7.45pm) looking to become the first visiting side to leave with three points.
Worksop are currently fourth, three points ahead of the Bucks, but they have played two games less.
Meanwhile, next Thursday (March 20) sees Buxton entertain Hallam, again at the Silverlands.
The game is a must-win for Hallam if they are to get away from the drop-zone, as a defeat would mean almost certain relegation for the South Yorkshire outfit.
