HIGH Peak rivals Buxton, New Mills, Glossop North End and Chapel Town are set to do battle in the annual High Peak Cup.

The draw has this year pitted big rivals Glossop North End and New Mills together in the semi-finals. Surrey Street will be the venue on Tuesday July 26, at 7.45pm.

Two days later Chapel Town host two-time cup winners Buxton in a mouth-watering tie and the first between the two clubs at Rowton Park for many a year. The match kicks-off at 7pm on Thursday July 28.

The final of the competition is scheduled for Wednesday August 3 (kick-off 7.45pm).

If Buxton reach the final, the game will be played at the Silverlands. If not, the game will be played at the winner from the other tie.

Teams will be able to make seven substitutions during the 90-minute matches, with penalty kicks settling a draw.

There will be no third place play-off.

Admission has been frozen at just £5 for adults.

On entry to the first game fans will be given a voucher allowing them half-price entry to the second semi-final.

There will be opportunities throughout the tournament to donate to the MS Society - the official nominated charity.

The High Peak Cup is organised and sponsored by High Peak Radio.
