Millers crash to heavy home league defeat

NEW Mills AFC crashed to their second successive home league defeat on Monday evening.

The Millers were beaten 4-0 by Grantham Town. A brace from Paul Grimes, followed by a goal from Ben Saunders, put the visitors 3-0 ahead inside the opening half-hour. Rhys Lewis added a fourth goal after the break.

The result leaves New Mills in ninth place in the Evo-Stik First Division South, with 20 points from 14 games.
