Buxton host Darlington 1883 at the Silverlands on Saturday, in the opening game of the new Evo-Stik Premier Division season.
Martin McIntosh is still working on new arrivals but last week confirmed the signature of vastly experienced midfield man Ricky Ravenhill.
Ravenhill penned terms with the Bucks after spending the second half of last season at Mansfield Town in League Two.
The 34-year-old is probably best known for his four-year spell at Doncaster Rovers, where he was a teammate of Tim Ryan, current Bucks’ assistant manager.
It was also confirmed by the club this week that winger Osebi Abadaki has re-joined the Bucks.
A batch of young players have also signed terms for the 2015-16 campaign, with Reece Lucas, Jordan Cooke and Niall Doran all joining.
Earlier in the week Joel Bembo Leta and Glenn Belezika signed terms.
They join fellow acquisitions such as Phil Barnes, Ashley Worsfold and Bradley Barraclough.
Many of the new signings could feature against Darlington, who are expected to bring a healthy following in their first match since promotion last season.
Meanwhile, club directors have announced an increase in the price of adult admission to the Silverlands this season.
Prices will increase from £9 to £10.
A spokesperson said: “It is a move that is regrettable but necessary with recent financial pressures put on the club, including a 20% increase in the referees fees.
“The price of concessions remains at £6 and with the free admission for under-14’s, with a full payer, the Silverlands is still one of the best value for money clubs in the league.
“Season tickets for the new season remain at the old price and are even better value now.”
