Craig King departed Buxton last week in a deal that the club said was “too good for both them and the player to turn down.”
King has joined Vanarama Conference North strugglers Bradford Park Avenue for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old arrived at the Silverlands in the summer of 2013 after a successful spell at Worksop and put in some excellent performances during the 2013-14 campaign.
Manager Martin McIntosh praised the winger’s attitude after the news of his departure emerged.
He said: “Craig has been a model pro in his time at the club.
“He never missed training and has been a delight to work with.”
King played 92 times for the Bucks and scored eight goals.
Bucks defender Ash Palmer praised his former teammate and believes King’s talents will be sorely missed.
“I don’t think he’s quite done as well as he did last season, but he has been in and out of the team” said Palmer.
“Last season he was probably our best player.
“I think he’ll be a big miss to the club.”
