After the game finished 4-4 in normal time, the two sides had to be separated by spot-kicks.

Gary Bramwell gave Buxton the lead with a sublime finish before Aaron Maund hit a stunning hat-trick to send the away side 4-0 up.

A goal from the penalty spot by Mitch Shenton was the only bright spell for the Leek XI in the first 45 minutes.

Amazingly, Leek drew level to complete a memorable comeback.

Goals in the second half from Will Bown, Dan Cope and Craig Johnston made it 4-4 and only a superb save by Buxton’s Ian Webb from the penalty spot sent the game into extra-time.

Webb was again the hero, after saving two Leek efforts in the shoot-out, as Buxton prospered 4-3 on penalties to clinch the trophy.
