Glossop North End have begun the search for a new manager following the departure of Garry Brown and Paul Williams.
The Surrey Street club announced on Thursday evening that the management team, who were only appointed in mid-December, had left the club “following a season which did not fulfil the expectations of the club or its supporters”.
The Hillmen finished the 2012/13 season in 13th place in the North West Counties League Premier Division, with 14 wins from their 42 matches.
A club statement read: “The club is looking to move forward positively into next season and will start a re-building exercise with immediate effect. Part of that re-building exercise will include the appointment of a First Team Manager with proven capability of developing a successful team at Step 5 of the National League System or above.
“The Directors wish to record their thanks to Garry and Paul for their hard work during the season, especially when they stepped into the breach following the mid-season managerial change. We wish them every success in their future careers.”
Anyone wishing to apply for the vacancy at Glossop should email their CV to Football Secretary Stewart Taylor at email@example.com, or send it by post to: Stewart Taylor, Football Secretary, Glossop North End AFC, Surrey Street, Glossop, SK13 7AJ.
The closing date for applications is Monday May 20.
