First pro tour win for Chapel golfer George Bloor
Chapel pro George Bloor has achieved his first tour victory.
Bloor, who is an ambassador at Cavendish Golf Club and practises regularly at Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club, spends most winter months in Portugal and his victory came on the prestigious Portugal Pro tour, that many European and Challenge Tour golfers play on in the winter, on the impressive but difficult Dom Pedro Victoria course in Vilamoura.
Bloor is about to embark on an exciting year on the Europro tour and Challenge tour. He will feature on Sky Sports golf channel during the summer months and will aim to qualify for The Open Championship at Royal St George’s golf club in the summer and will enter the qualifying school for the European Tour later on this year.
