FORMER Manchester City footballer Paul Lake will be attending an event in the High Peak this weekend.
Lake, who played 110 games for City during his ten years at the club, will attend a meeting of the North Derbyshire Branch of the Manchester City Supporters’ Club on Sunday (August 14), at the Dog Inn, Chapel-en-le-Frith, at 6.30pm.
Following a meeting of the branch, Lake will give a talk and answer questions from the audience. He will also be signing copies of his new book ‘I’m Not Really Here’. A disco will follow the event.
Also in attendance will be BBC Radio Manchester’s Ian Cheeseman.
Admission is £5, or free to members of the supporters’ club. Proceeds will go to the supporters club’s Sierra Leone appeal.
